Leaning tower

Because we landed in Pisa about 4 hours late, we didn't have much time as we planned, so we took off with our bus driver vincenzo (sorry for all the mis spellings) and our tour guide Rena. We drove over and did a short walk through the town to the leaning tower. There were lots of people selling stuff... Think all the homless people out in the international marketplace selling umbrellas and glasses and fake purses... And you having to avoid them. As well as all the stalls selling stuff too..... But the piazza die miracoli is impressive,as the lite breezes, cool afternoon, not typical for this time of year, and blue skies and bright clouds brought out some gorgeous light to highlight the white marble in the tower, the baptistry and the cathedral. Built back around 1200's it started sinking cause the ground was marshy and work stopped for a century... It really does lean! Poor Sam was sick, feeling better now though,Noah got his gelato and we were off toflorenceand the hotel, about 1:40 away.
