We took a 3 hr bus ride to the coast to check out cinque terra, a set of 5 (actually more) 'fingers' of inlets where they built their homes way up on the cliffside and the only way to reach it is by boat or a train. Inaccessible during the winter months, these people fish during the calm summer months and greet tourists. It was warm, but still like a winter afternoon in. December, very cool.
