What a day.... About 4 hours of walking and touring around the city.... Ponte vecchio, seen here in the picture, was the only bridge that the Germans didn't distroy. We walked on, checking out statues and churches... Found a gelato store and watched a marbling paper process which was pretty cool. Lunch at a small restaurant and a visit to the academy museum where. Michaelangelo has his David. Did you know there is also a copy of the statue out in front of the town center? Looks the same, except with pigeons resting on his head.
