hello. after 8 hours on a plane from chicago to munich, germany, a 5 hour layover and another 1hr flight to prauge- we made it.
i guess we are 12 hours difference than hawaii- so it being 2;10 in the afternoon here, you are all nice and asleep.
prauge is surrounded by lots of forest and is home to about 10 million people. we toured today walking around the heart of the city, visiting some of the old jewish quarters, we saw the famous clock tower in the middle of the old town square. had pizza for lunch and are heading back for a nap. our hotel is on the river, sorry, i can't remember its name- and tomorrow we will get in a tour bus and ride around to a couple of the castles that are in the countryside. the hotels and buildings are all sooty, close together and lots of bright colors. the streets are paved with cobblestones and the sidewalks have even smaller ones, and the drivers are crazy.
noah and sammi wish everyone well. and noah has embarked on a artistic cataloguing of all the square things he can find.
tomorrow will be circles.
'what do you think about prague?'
noah: it is very nice. i like the forests. 'but you haven't been in a forest' noah: yes, but i see it in the distance and can imagine the tigers and moose walking around in it.
sammi: how come this isn't spain?
can't quite figure out how to email from the iphones- so no pictures yet- but there are some good ones that we'll get to you soon.
